Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ5 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Radiator Depot at (714) 534-8311; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

βΈ» 0 Stars What a scammer! Rude and dishonest β especially Jose, the owner. The first time I brought my car in (on a Wednesday), I told him the A/C wasnβt cold β just blowing cool air. He told me to sit and wait inside. Without asking or explaining, he refilled the freon and then charged me $85, saying the compressor was βa little weak.β Two days later, the A/C still wasnβt cold β just cool air again. I brought the car back, and he refused to take responsibility for the charge. He said it was the compressor, something he βalready told me.β He then charged me $550 to replace the compressor. After starting my car β same issue. Still only blowing cool air. When I complained, he brushed it off and said, βYour car is a Honda, not a Mercedes, manβ β and repeated it multiple times. He was extremely rude and disrespectful the entire time. Theyβll charge you for every little thing, but they donβt fix the real problem. If they canβt figure it out, theyβll just make excuses like they did with me. STAY FAR AWAY. TOTAL SCAM

These people are very unprofessional they said they fixed my son's car just to have it back at the shop 3 weeks later this time with another problem. To top it off they caused bumper damage and claim they don't know how it got there. The mechanic Jose is very rude and said to pick up the car knowing it doesn't run (thanks to him) and to take it to another mechanic. I will be filing a complaint and taking them to court DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS you plan to bring it back in a few weeks for another repair. Thats how they stay in business by messing other things in your car.

Do not come here. The owner is rude. He will quote you one quote over the phone, then another when you show up. My husband car is in worst condition than when he brought it in. The belt was supposed to be fix, but wasn't fixed correctly. It ended up coming off and getting wedged between the engine and pulley. The owner didn't want to hear anything I had to say. He was unprofessional and hung up on me in mid conversation. Stay away unless you want more issues with your car. They will deny any fault.
